A little about myself...

Hi you guys! My name is Asucena Trujillo but I go by "Asu"! Here are just a few things you should know about me. I am from Oregon! I am mixed between Native American, Iberian( Italian, Greek, Portuguese, Spaniard) and Hispanic! I am a Junior and I play Softball here at Stws! I am a Physical ED major with a minor in Science. I enjoy the warm weather the south brings and the food! I love nature, like hiking or being outside (when its nice :) especially at the beach ). In my family I have no brothers but 4 sisters including my little Niece Jesi my mom took guardianship of a few years ago! I love spending time with kids and work a full time job during summer as an Instructional Assistant for Elementary students. I'm someone who likes to be active and eat healthy! I am a great cook and baker as well! I'm very creative, motivated and loving. If I could choose one word to describe myself I would have to say Enthusiastic!

              I'm very excited for these next few last years of school to see where the future takes me and what there is in store. My team and family are the two biggest supporters in my life and I'm truly grateful to have them!

I really enjoyed the site because it was easy and gave instructions for how to use its tools. It was very easily laid out. I was able to create my mind map the way I wanted, customized in my own way and I really liked that I could use little emoji pictures like the ones we use on our phones to place with our mind map. Hyper Docs- Health Grade 9

     From looking at the examples and videos on Hyper docs I was able to find an alternative way in creating a format or lesson for the classroom. I learned that with HyperDocs they can be a new way for students to be introduced to a new topic and that there is so many different ways to use them in instruction in the classroom. With this I mean that they can used with podcasts, playlists and videos, etc. For teachers, HyperDocs are beneficial to a students understanding and needs. they are fit for each individual student and can be easily rearranged to fit their learning,. HyperDocs help expand a students learning by providing sources to all kinds of information on a particular topic that help relate information. It helps with students to work independently but in a way to allow them to make thi5r own understanding on a topic to learn.
